This handbook complements the former book by the same author, Swine disorders guide, published by Servet in 2014. This new guide is focused on the diagnosis of swine disorders, including clinical examination and clinical signs, and includes a deep review of the main disorders according to their clinical signs.
There are very few books on biosecurity and this one details the subject explains why but more seriously providing practical advice on how to complete a review of the biosecurity measures required on a modern pig farm. The aim of this book is to be an easy reference guide for those involved in maintaining the health status of pig farms including abundant guidelines, advice sheets, flowcharts and pictures.

Every illustration describes the clinical aspects of the dermatology consultation: anatomical and physiological considerations about the skin and its adnexa, and graphic descriptions of infectious, inflammatory, endocrine, allergic or tumoral diseases. The clarity and accuracy of the illustrations turn this atlas into another useful clinical tool.
The first aim of the book Food, Eating and Nutrition: A multidisciplinary approach was to explore the common ground between all the professionals working within or around the area of the mouth and on the mechanics of eating food such as dentists, speech pathologists, lactation consultants or otolaryngologists. However, this project, over time, thanks to the contributions of many specialists, has come to include the impact of food on the whole body by focusing on functions, organs and on how eating keeps us in health or in disease.
